Below is my alternate book cover for Wool by Hugh Howey. I chose to use a picture of silos since the characters of the novel are living in a silo. I wanted the image to be black and white so a eerie feel would be given off. In the novel, the outside world is ominous and those living in the silo do not want to venture outside to explore this forbidden world. I then used font that I thought looked nice and jumped out (American Typewrite, Phosphate). I chose red and black as my font colors because I feel like that look good together, while also grabbing the attention of whoever is looking at the cover. Overall, I think I did a better job than I expected myself to do and had a lot of fun doing it!
